Vienna's fluting and raised base bring a familiar cake-stand form to white melamine. The 13.75-inch top is useful for a cake, pastries or a selection of small savory servings, with a five-inch rise that adds a clear level to the table. Made for indoor and outdoor entertaining, it gives a serving arrangement shape without introducing another color.

“A cake stand need not wait for a birthday in my view. A few breakfast pastries or small sandwiches can benefit just as much from a little height, particularly on a table where the other dishes are low.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership

Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.

Maker / Heritage

Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.

The Vida collection carries that attention to serving shapes into melamine, with sculptural rims and generous forms made for relaxed meals indoors and out.
