Amelia gives this white melamine platter a softly curving oval outline for food arranged to share. Its 18-by-12-inch format suits vegetables, appetizers or a main-course serving, with a raised edge defining the space. Designed for indoor and outdoor entertaining, it can move between a dining-room meal and a relaxed gathering on the terrace.
“I like a platter that makes the food easy to take, rather than simply beautiful to look at. Leaving a little space between the servings lets Amelia's outline show and makes the whole arrangement feel more generous.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
The Vida collection carries that attention to serving shapes into melamine, with sculptural rims and generous forms made for relaxed meals indoors and out.
