The TOCOBO AHA BHA Lemon Toner puts its two working acids on the front of the carton and then does something slightly unusual: it publishes the numbers. Korean reviewers quote 38 percent lemon fruit extract, 50,400 ppm of AHA and 500 ppm of BHA, which is why glycolic acid sits third on the ingredient list, above almost everything else, and salicylic acid appears much further down as a supporting act. The finished formula is buffered back with sodium hydroxide to a pH of about 5.5, close to skin's own, so the acid is doing gradual work rather than a peel.
