Caran d'Ache 849 Fountain Pen - Black Code is part of the Black Edition collection.

Black is a color that transcends time and trends, embodying both power and elegance. Caran d'Ache celebrates its timeless allure with the Black Edition collection, a perfect fusion of sophistication and contemporary design.

Caran d'Ache's 849 Fountain Pen was designed and made after their well-known and popular 849 Ballpoint Pens. Similar to the 849 Ballpoint Pens, the 849 Fountain Pen has a hexagonal body shape and a slim look and feel. The fountain pen has an aluminum barrel with a plastic grip section; the nib material is stainless steel and the clip is steel as well. The pen cap has a satisfying click when you cap it, and it is possible to post the cap securely. The 849 fountain pen is compatible with standard international short and long cartridges, and converters.
